The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport is pleased to announce that the research and development theme (lead applicant: Associate Professor, Tomonori Nagayama, the University of Tokyo) that we proposed jointly with the Graduate School of Engineering, The University of Tokyo and Nichireki Corporation has been selected as one of the technology seeds for the fiscal 2020 Matching Project.

The research is "to develop a technology that uses a vehicle-mounted camera to assess the rate of road surface cracks in a large scale within a short period of time" and is expected to become a new technology. For details, please refer to the following URL:
