Boyu Zhao
Zhao developed core technology for road surface evaluation methods using smartphones in the doctoral course of the Department of Civil Engineering, School of Engineering, University of Tokyo. For the achievements, he received the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Engineering Dean's Award and the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Commendation (Technology Development Category). After graduating from Utokyo, he got a job at JR East and engaged in field work in track maintenance and research and development in railway-related monitoring (CBM). Aiming to promote industry-academia collaboration and DX in the social infrastructure maintenance industry, he was appointed CEO in 2022 in our company.
