GLOCAL-EYEZ passed all inspection criteria for the 2023 Road Surface Condition Automatic Measurement Device Performance Verification Test

Vehicles equipped with the "GLOCAL-EYEZ" road inspection DX system, jointly developed by Smart City Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd. and Nichireki Co., Ltd., have successfully passed the "2023 Road Surface Condition Automatic Measurement Device Performance Verification Test" conducted by the General Foundation for Civil Engineering Research Center."GLOCAL-EYEZ" is a technology that allows the measurement of road surface conditions by simply attaching a single smartphone to a general vehicle and driving normally. For the first time as a system based on smartphone vibration measurement and image capture that does not require dedicated equipment or vehicles, it has passed all three road surface inspection elements: "cracks," "potholes," and "flatness." Previously, the inspection of all indicators of road surface condition inspection, which was measured using dedicated road surface condition survey vehicles with an initial cost of approximately 100 million yen, can now be carried out with high precision using a single vehicle-installed smartphone, creating expectations for a revolutionary efficiency and advancement in the road inspection industry. For more details, please click here: https://prtimes.jp/main/html/rd/p/000000005.000107939.html
